Job Description:
Impala Platinum Refineries is seeking passionate individuals to join their Learner Instrument Technician learnership programme. This 42-month opportunity will allow successful candidates to acquire the necessary skills to become qualified Instrument Technicians, culminating in an Instrument Mechanician trade test certificate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in a structured 42-month learnership program with a focus on Instrumentation, PLC programming, SCADA, and network setup.
• Assist in ensuring plant availability and system control to support production targets.
• Gain practical experience in resolving problems in plant instrumentation.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Completed N6 or S4 or National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Light Current) with specialization in Instrumentation and Process Control.
• Theoretical knowledge of process control systems, piping, and instrumentation diagrams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and computer literacy skills.
• Medically fit for PMR and BMR plants at the Refineries.
