Are you ready to take your engineering career to the next level? Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for driven, ambitious, and talented individuals to join our 24-month Facility Manager Internship Program. This exciting opportunity is designed to develop future Facility Managers within our Data Center Engineering Operations (DCEO) team.

As a Facility Manager in Training, you will be immersed in a dynamic and hands-on learning environment, gaining extensive experience in managing critical infrastructure, operations planning, vendor and team management, and ensuring our data centers operate at peak efficiency. This role offers a unique pathway into leadership at the forefront of AWS infrastructure services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage on-site operations with shift technicians, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Engage in strategic planning and project management for data center facilities.
• Oversee maintenance, asset and inventory management, and compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Assist with the design, build-out, and optimization of data center infrastructure.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, and training of team members while fostering a culture of high performance.
• Partner with IT and business leaders to coordinate and enhance facility performance and capacity.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by meeting all operational demands with efficiency and professionalism.

Basic Qualifications:

• Prior experience managing mission-critical systems or facilities.
