About the Opportunity:

As part of our commitment to developing the next generation of engineering professionals, Steinmüller Africa is offering a structured and comprehensive Engineer-in-Training (EIT) programme. This initiative is designed to provide on-the-job training, mentorship, and site experience for graduates in the following disciplines:

  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Structural Engineering
  • Civil Engineering
  • Chemical Engineering

EITs will be exposed to various departments and project sites across our operations, primarily located in the Mpumalanga and Gauteng Provinces. The programme includes both technical and soft-skills training designed to prepare you for a successful engineering career.

Minimum Academic Requirements:

To qualify for this opportunity, applicants must provide proof of successful completion (or pending graduation) of one of the following:

  • B.Eng. or B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering
  • B.Eng. or B.Sc. in Structural Engineering
  • B.Eng. or B.Sc. in Civil Engineering
  • B.Eng. or B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering

All academic results will be used as part of the shortlisting process.

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel and work on project sites across provinces
  • A valid driver’s licence is advantageous, though not mandatory
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
