Eskom, South Africa’s leading electricity public utility, is offering a unique opportunity for recent graduates to gain valuable hands-on experience through our Engineer in Training (EIT) programme. We are looking to appoint three enthusiastic and talented Engineers in Training to join the Distribution Division in the Gauteng region.

About the Role:

This structured 3-year EIT programme aims to groom graduates by exposing them to all key aspects of Eskom’s operations in Distribution. It serves as a platform for young engineering professionals to acquire skills, build competence, and gain exposure to complex electrical engineering systems, project environments, and operational challenges in the energy sector.

Minimum Requirements:

Educational Qualifications: Applicants must hold a completed BEng degree in one of the following disciplines:

  • Electrical Engineering
  • Computer Science
  • Computer Engineering
  • Data Engineering
  • Industrial Engineering
