Eskom is seeking to appoint a qualified and dedicated Technician NED (Distribution) at its Empangeni office. This role is vital to delivering high-quality engineering and asset care services as part of the Asset Creation team within the Central East Cluster.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Qualifications:
    • National Diploma or National N Diploma in Engineering (NQF Level 6, 240 credits).
  • Experience:
    • Completion of P1 and P2 Practical Training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver technical services to support engineering and distribution designs.
  • Provide professional and compliant engineering design work.
  • Ensure asset base integrity through quality assurance and standardised outputs.
  • Consult on discipline-related engineering matters.
  • Support the development and implementation of asset care and project execution plans.
