RCL Foods is offering exciting In-Service Trainee Internship opportunities for ambitious and motivated students who require Work Integrated Learning (WIL) to complete their National Diploma or BTech qualification. This opportunity is ideal for students who are eager to apply their academic knowledge in a real-world environment and gain valuable hands-on experience within a dynamic, industry-leading company.

We are calling on students who are currently enrolled in engineering programs and are in the process of completing their P1 or P2 practical training to apply. This internship is designed to help students meet the academic requirement of 12 months of relevant work experience needed to graduate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be currently enrolled in a BTech or National Diploma in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical).
• A letter from your academic institution confirming the requirement for Work Integrated Learning (WIL) is mandatory.
• An aggregate academic pass rate of 65–70% or higher.
• Must be actively completing P1 or P2 practical training.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
• Basic understanding of engineering principles and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

As an in-service trainee, you will work under the guidance of experienced professionals to support the operations of the engineering department. You will be exposed to various aspects of engineering work in a manufacturing environment and gain experience relevant to your field of study. Duties may include assisting with process optimization, maintenance planning, quality control, safety checks, documentation, and other technical assignments aligned with your discipline.
