Role Overview
The Graduate Intern: Support Desk Consultant will be responsible for delivering remote technical support within a telephonic Support Desk environment. This role supports SanlamConnect’s advisors, brokers, sales management, and administrative teams by resolving issues related to Sanlam-supported commercial software, advice tools, and connectivity systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide telephonic and remote technical support to Sanlam intermediaries and support staff
  • Assist with Sanlam Advice Tools and services
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Microsoft Office and general internet-related issues
  • Support email configurations and connectivity problems
  • Maintain and execute administrative tasks related to technical support
  • Ensure accurate and professional handling of all support queries

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

  • Matric certificate
  • A relevant post-school qualification (e.g., Diploma, Degree, or Postgraduate certificate) in Information Technology or related field
  • A+/N+ certifications or equivalent IT qualification
  • ITIL knowledge is advantageous
  • Knowledge of operating systems, networking, email setup, and hardware
  • Familiarity with PC components, printers, routers, and general IT troubleshooting
  • Strong administrative and communication skills
  • Must be currently unemployed
  • Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 35
