Eskom invites applications for two (2) exciting learner intern opportunities at Kusile Power Station under the Bulk Material Handling department within the Construction Services Business Unit. These internship positions form part of Eskom Rotek Industries’ ongoing commitment to skills development and youth empowerment in the energy sector.

Position: Learner Intern – Diploma in Electrical Engineering
Vacancy Type: External
Task Grade: I03
Contract Duration: 12 months
Location: Kusile Power Station, Mpumalanga
Stipend: As per Eskom company policies and procedures

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Senior Certificate
• Completed S4 or National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current or relevant discipline)
• No prior experience required

Skills and Competencies

• Basic computer literacy (MS Word, Excel)
• Good leadership skills
• Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
• Valid Code B driver’s license

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out duties in alignment with the assigned training program
• Participate in continuous improvement activities within the department
• Comply with Section 14 of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Act 85 of 1993
• Maintain a high level of safety awareness and adherence to Eskom policies
