Komatsu Mining Corporation (KMC), a global leader in the manufacturing and supply of equipment for the construction, mining, forestry, and industrial machinery sectors, is offering an exciting internship opportunity for a motivated and ambitious individual in the field of Information Technology.

As part of our continued commitment to developing future talent, we are inviting applications from university students who have completed all theoretical modules for their IT qualification and are now seeking practical workplace exposure. This internship will be based at our Wadeville facility in Germiston, Gauteng.

The Komatsu IT Internship Programme is a 12-month initiative designed to give young professionals real-world experience and hands-on involvement in core IT functions. You will join a dynamic team where innovation, collaboration, and problem-solving are key to daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support in managing the company’s network infrastructure
• Assist in software distribution and deployment
• Work with the server infrastructure team to ensure optimal performance
• Provide first-level SAP application support
• Offer technical support across the business, resolving issues and escalating where necessary

Minimum Requirements:

• Completed all theoretical modules towards a Degree or Diploma in Information Technology or a related field
• Strong interest in IT systems, software, and infrastructure
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment
