Arnot OpCo (Pty) Ltd, a prominent mining company operating at Arnot Mine in Rietkuil, Middleburg, Mpumalanga, invites applications from unemployed graduates for its Internship Programme 2025. The programme is designed to provide practical work experience for individuals who have completed relevant degrees or diplomas but have not yet gained professional experience in their field. Successful candidates will be offered a 24-month fixed-term contract, giving them the opportunity to develop skills in a professional mining environment while contributing meaningfully to the company’s operations.

The internship programme is open to graduates in the following disciplines: Mechanical, Geology, Metallurgy, Health and Safety, and Occupational Hygiene. Applicants are required to be South African citizens who are currently unemployed and must be between the ages of 18 and 35. Candidates should possess a Degree, Advanced Diploma, N6 Diploma, or B-Tech Degree from an accredited South African institution. A strong academic record is essential, and applicants must have no criminal record.

Applicants are required to submit a certified copy of their South African Identity Document, a certified copy of their qualifications relevant to the field they are applying for, and a brief curriculum vitae. Graduates from host communities must provide proof of residence endorsed by the relevant tribal office or municipality. Only applicants who have completed a full tertiary qualification and have not previously participated in a similar internship programme will be considered.

All successful candidates will be subject to a comprehensive medical examination and security screening prior to the commencement of the internship. The programme offers graduates the opportunity to gain hands-on experience under the guidance of experienced professionals and to develop the skills necessary to advance in their chosen careers within the mining industry.
