About This Opportunity

This Engineer-In-Training position is specifically designed for graduate engineers who are passionate about process engineering and committed to professional development. You’ll be immersed in real-world project environments, contributing to the design and execution of diverse engineering projects while building the foundational knowledge and experience required for ECSA registration.

Working alongside experienced professionals, you’ll gain hands-on exposure to industrial process design, project execution, and engineering best practices. This role offers a structured pathway to developing your technical competencies while working on meaningful projects that make a real impact.

What You’ll Do

As an Engineer-In-Training, you’ll contribute to various aspects of project delivery within our Design Group. Your responsibilities will include supporting design work, preparing technical documentation, performing engineering calculations, and assisting with project deliverables. You’ll work under the guidance of senior engineers who will mentor you through complex technical challenges and help you develop professional engineering judgment.

Your day-to-day activities will involve applying engineering principles to practical problems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, and contributing to project milestones. You’ll also participate in team meetings, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and document your work to professional standards.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (BEng or B.Sc Eng) who demonstrate strong analytical abilities and attention to detail. While this is an entry-level position, any practical industrial or engineering experience you’ve gained through internships, vacation work, or university projects will be advantageous.

The ideal candidate is computer literate, deadline-driven, and possesses excellent problem-solving skills. You should have a solid understanding of fundamental engineering principles and be familiar with relevant codes, standards, and regulations. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as you’ll be preparing technical reports and collaborating with colleagues across different disciplines.
