The organisation invites applications from motivated and committed graduates to participate in a 24-month internship programme designed to provide valuable workplace exposure and practical experience in the field of Human Resources. This opportunity is aimed at unemployed graduates seeking to gain the skills and experience necessary to enhance their employability and successfully enter the labour market.

Programme Overview

The Graduate Internship Programme provides participants with an opportunity to bridge the gap between academic learning and practical workplace experience. Interns will work closely with experienced professionals, gaining exposure to various aspects of human resources management, including recruitment and selection, employee relations, training and development, and HR administration. The programme is structured to ensure that interns develop both technical and interpersonal competencies that will add value to their future careers.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must hold at least a National Diploma or higher qualification in one of the following fields:

  • Human Resources Management
  • Human Resources Development
  • Human Resources Administration
  • Management or Business Management

In addition, candidates should possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Dependability and a strong sense of responsibility
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Capacity to perform under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Basic computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office applications

Candidates who have previously participated in any internship or graduate development programme are not eligible to apply.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Be a South African Citizen or South African Permanent Resident with a valid South African Identity Document.
  • Non-South Africans are not eligible to apply.

Duration and Conditions

The internship will run for a period of 24 months. Successful candidates will be required to sign an internship agreement for the full duration of the programme. Interns will receive a monthly stipend as determined by the organisation’s policies. Please note that relocation and accommodation costs, if applicable, will be the responsibility of the successful applicants.
