The Opportunity

We are seeking two talented Junior K2 Developers to join our dynamic Information Systems team on a three-year contract basis. This role offers an exciting entry point for emerging IT professionals passionate about business process automation and eager to develop their technical expertise in a supportive, structured environment.

What You’ll Do

As a Junior K2 Developer, you will play a vital role in automating and optimizing business processes across our organization. Your responsibilities will include gathering user requirements, developing and maintaining K2 SmartForms, Workflows, Views and SmartObjects, and supporting the creation of technical documentation. You’ll participate in software testing, troubleshoot workflow issues, and contribute to deployment activities under the guidance of experienced team members. This position also involves data analysis and reporting through K2 and Microsoft SQL Server, providing comprehensive exposure to enterprise-level systems and processes.

What We’re Looking For

Essential Qualifications:

  • National Senior Certificate (Matric)
  • Three-year tertiary qualification in IT, Computer Science, or related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in software development or business process automation

Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft .NET C# (ASP.NET, MVC, or Windows Forms)
  • Exposure to K2 development tools (SmartForms, Workflows, SmartObjects)
  • Familiarity with SharePoint 2013 or higher
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2014 or higher)
  • Understanding of system design, testing methodologies, and business processes

Advantageous:

  • K2 Foundation or equivalent certification
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
