Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Graduate Intern Civil Engineer, you will:

  • Execute duties in strict accordance with your structured training programme, ensuring continuous professional development
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Construction Services team
  • Maintain rigorous compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993, demonstrating unwavering commitment to safety protocols
  • Apply theoretical knowledge to practical engineering challenges under expert supervision
  • Participate in site activities, construction monitoring, and quality assurance processes
  • Develop technical competencies in civil engineering disciplines specific to power generation infrastructure

Essential Requirements

Academic Qualifications:

  • National Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
  • BTech in Civil Engineering (recently completed or about to complete)

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Understanding of civil engineering principles and construction methodologies
