About This Opportunity
Are you a recent graduate with a passion for logistics, supply chain management, and operational excellence? This comprehensive graduate programme is designed to provide you with hands-on experience across our butcheries and related business operations. You’ll gain invaluable exposure to the entire meat processing value chain while working alongside industry experts who are committed to your professional development.
As a graduate trainee, you’ll rotate through various departments and business units, gaining practical insights into how one of Africa’s most successful retail operations manages its meat processing and supply chain functions. From procurement and processing to distribution and quality assurance, you’ll develop a holistic understanding of our operations while contributing to meaningful projects that impact thousands of customers daily.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Commerce degree in one of the following fields:
- Logistics
- Supply Chain Management
- Quantitative Management
- Industrial Engineering
- Operational Research
- Related degree or qualification
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience with or willingness to learn SAP systems
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in team environments
- Adaptability and eagerness to learn
- Strong attention to detail and quality orientation
Experience:
While not essential, previous working experience will be considered an advantage and will strengthen your application.
