What You’ll Do

As a Graduate Innovation Data Analyst Intern, you’ll be instrumental in tracking and visualising innovation concepts as they journey from initial ideation to full implementation. Your key responsibilities include:

• Dashboard Development: Create and maintain compelling Power BI dashboards that bring innovation metrics to life, making complex data accessible and actionable for decision-makers
• Data Analysis: Collect, clean, and analyse innovation activity data, ensuring accuracy and relevance while uncovering meaningful insights
• Innovation Tracking: Support the monitoring of innovation projects through every stage of the funnel, providing visibility into progress and performance
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with innovation team members and business stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver tailored insights
• Strategic Presentations: Present your findings and recommendations to team members and leadership, developing your communication and storytelling skills
• Process Improvement: Contribute to enhancing data collection methodologies and reporting standards, leaving a lasting impact on the organisation

What You’ll Need

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
• Foundational knowledge of Power BI or similar visualisation tools
• Experience with data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Python, or R)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal
• Collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn

Bonus Points For:

• Power BI or data analytics certifications
• Experience with data cleaning, modelling, or dashboard projects
• Familiarity with innovation frameworks (Design Thinking, Lean Startup)
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure) or automation tools
• Understanding of business processes or innovation management
