The Opportunity
We are recruiting for two Technician Engineering Generic positions (Grade T11) within our Transmission/Distribution Delivery department. Based at our Rosherville facility in Gauteng, you’ll work at the forefront of engineering excellence, contributing to the maintenance and enhancement of South Africa’s critical power infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
As a Technician Engineering Generic, your core responsibilities will include:
Technical Service Delivery: You’ll provide comprehensive technical services supporting engineering operations, ensuring our infrastructure maintains the highest standards of performance and reliability.
Professional Design Contribution: Apply your engineering expertise to develop and refine professional designs that meet Eskom’s exacting standards and contribute to operational excellence.
Asset Integrity Management: Play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing our asset base integrity through proactive technical interventions and quality assurance processes.
Standardization: Deliver standardized outputs that ensure consistency, efficiency, and quality across engineering operations.
Technical Consultation: Serve as a go-to resource for discipline-related issues, providing expert guidance and problem-solving support to colleagues and stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements
Educational Qualifications:
- National Diploma or National N Diploma in Engineering at NQF Level 6 with 240 credits
Experience:
- Minimum P1 and P2 practical training experience completed
