The Opportunity

This graduate role, reporting to our Principal Process Engineer, offers you a launching pad for an exciting career in process engineering. You’ll gain hands-on experience in EPCM project delivery within the mining industry while working alongside internationally recognized subject matter experts.

Your Role

As a Graduate Process Engineer at Lycopodium, you’ll:

• Support engineering, project, and technical activities across various mining projects
• Assist with process design, calculations, and equipment specifications
• Contribute to flowsheet development and technical documentation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams
• Perform administrative and operational support duties as required
• Learn industry-standard engineering practices and project delivery methodologies

What You’ll Need

• Education: Degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent from a recognized tertiary institution
• Citizenship: South African citizen
• Location: Cape Town based or willing to relocate
• Skills: Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Attitude: Willingness to learn and adapt in a professional engineering environment
• Technical: Computer literacy with MS Office; industry software knowledge is advantageous
