As a Test Technician Intern, you’ll play a vital supporting role in preparing and executing various tests that validate munition performance under different conditions. Your Key Responsibilities
Your day-to-day activities will be varied and engaging. You’ll assist with environmental testing that simulates extreme conditions, support insensitive munition testing that evaluates safety characteristics, and contribute to lot acceptance and qualification tests that verify product quality. You’ll develop practical skills in calibrating electrical and electronic instruments, conducting first-line maintenance, and troubleshooting testing equipment when issues arise.
Beyond the technical work, you’ll gain valuable experience in programming and configuring testing range instruments, interpreting complex data, and maintaining organized workshop environments. You’ll also be involved in procurement activities, helping to source necessary test materials and consumables.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate holds a National Diploma in Electrical or Electronic Engineering and possesses strong computer literacy across Microsoft Office applications. A valid Code 8/10 driver’s license would be advantageous, as would familiarity with oscilloscopes and measuring systems for vibration, temperature, pressure, velocity, and acceleration.
