About the Role

As a Manufacturing Intern, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the quality and traceability of raw materials that power our equipment manufacturing operations. This isn’t just about observing from the sidelines – you’ll be actively involved in inspection processes, quality control, and stock management, working alongside experienced professionals who are committed to your development.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include inspecting and verifying raw materials such as steel, mild steel, and paint, ensuring every component meets our exacting standards. You’ll mark and record all delivered materials, maintaining the traceability systems that are critical to our operations. By monitoring stock levels of essential equipment, nuts, bolts, and washers, you’ll help ensure our production lines never miss a beat.

You’ll participate in quality checks throughout the manufacturing process, gaining invaluable insight into how world-class products are made. Documentation and record-keeping will be part of your remit, teaching you the importance of accuracy and compliance in a regulated industry. Working closely with our Quality, Logistics, and Production teams, you’ll see firsthand how different departments collaborate to achieve excellence.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking candidates with a National Diploma in mechanical engineering, metallurgy, quality management, or an equivalent qualification. You should be fully computer literate across all MS Office packages and possess excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills in English.

Attention to detail is essential, as is a genuine willingness to learn and grow in a manufacturing environment. We value candidates who demonstrate a high standard of workmanship and have a basic understanding of material inspection, handling, and stock control.
