About the Programme

The Coega Internship Programme 2026 is a structured developmental opportunity that provides qualified graduates with hands-on work exposure in a dynamic professional environment. Over the course of two years, interns will participate in a formalized programme of activities specifically designed to transfer knowledge and develop practical skills. You’ll be mentored and coached by experienced professionals who are committed to your growth and success.

Available Positions

We have exciting opportunities across multiple business units:

Operations (Gqeberha) – National Diploma in Project Management

Business Development (Gqeberha) – National Diploma in Industrial Engineering

ICT, Research and Strategy (Gqeberha) – National Diploma in Business Management or Honours in Economics

Compliance (Gqeberha) – National Diploma in Office Administration, Public Administration, or Business Administration

Tshwane Programme (Pretoria) – National Diploma in Office Administration, Public Administration, or Business Administration

What We’re Looking For

Coega seeks young, vibrant, and energetic individuals who embody virtuous habits and great ethos. The ideal candidate is:

• A holder of a Diploma (NQF Level 6), Degree (NQF Level 7), or Honours Degree (NQF Level 8)
• Not older than 35 years of age
• Without prior work experience in their field of study
• Ready to learn, grow, and contribute
