About the Role

As an Automotive Apprentice, you’ll work alongside experienced, qualified technicians, gaining hands-on experience in vehicle servicing and repairs while receiving comprehensive training that will set the foundation for your technical career.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include assisting with vehicle maintenance and repairs, learning to accurately clock times on all jobs, understanding repair order instructions before commencing work, planning jobs effectively, and identifying parts that need to be ordered. You’ll also attend prescribed training sessions that will develop your technical knowledge and practical skills, preparing you for certification as a Red Seal Technician – a qualification recognized and respected throughout South Africa and beyond.

What We’re Looking For

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must have successfully completed Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science as subjects – these are essential requirements. If you studied Automotive subjects at school, this will be highly advantageous and demonstrate your existing interest in the field.
