Position: Graduate Engineer (Mechanical)

This opportunity is designed to provide practical exposure, professional development, and hands-on experience in a dynamic engineering setting. The successful candidate will work closely with the Engineering Manager and technical teams to gain insight into maintenance systems, production support, project coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives within a regulated manufacturing environment.
Job Purpose
To provide meaningful workplace experience for a newly qualified Engineering graduate by offering structured exposure to engineering operations, maintenance strategies, plant optimization, and project execution. The programme aims to build technical competence, professional confidence, and industry readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with engineering maintenance planning and execution.
- Support plant reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in engineering projects, including installations and upgrades.
- Conduct basic fault-finding and troubleshooting under supervision.
- Compile technical reports and present findings where required.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams within the manufacturing environment.

- Intermediate computer literacy (MS Office Package).
- Good interpersonal skills and self-motivation.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Minimum Requirements
- BEng Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Age between 18 and 34 years.
- Studies must have been funded by NSFAS.
- South African citizen.
