About the Role
As an Apprentice Level 1, you will work alongside experienced technicians and tradespeople, gaining practical, real-world skills in the automotive industry. This role is ideal for a school leaver or recent graduate who is eager to turn passion into profession.
What You’ll Be Doing
You will assist senior workshop staff in the completion of daily tasks and technical projects, applying newly acquired skills under close mentorship. You will participate actively in structured training sessions and workshops, helping you build a strong foundation in automotive servicing and repairs. Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment will be central to your responsibilities, as will adhering strictly to all health and safety protocols. You will be expected to approach every task with a positive attitude, a willingness to ask questions, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for candidates who hold a matric certificate or equivalent qualification and who demonstrate a strong work ethic and genuine eagerness to learn. You should have good communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team. A basic interest or understanding of the automotive trade will be advantageous, though not essential — we will provide the training. You must be physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks as required in a workshop setting.
