What’s in It for You?
As a Production Technology Learner, you’ll spend 12 months embedded within our production facility, where you’ll work alongside experienced operators and supervisors to understand how a world-class manufacturing operation runs from the inside out. You’ll receive:
- A monthly stipend for the duration of the learnership

- Exposure to production machinery and operational workflows
- Participation in skills assessments that count toward your qualification
What You’ll Be Doing
Day to day, you’ll assist with production line activities, learn how to operate production machinery safely and efficiently, support operators and supervisors with operational tasks, and develop a thorough understanding of both operational and distribution workflows. This is a working learnership — you’ll be in the thick of it from day one.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for enthusiastic candidates who meet the following requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric) certificate
- Minimum 50% in English and 50% in Mathematics
- Strong ability to communicate in English — reading, writing, and speaking
- Aged between 18 and 28 years
- Must reside in Germiston or surrounding areas
- Available and fully committed to completing 12 months of training
Please note that immediate family members of VRN Gauteng, VRN Central Warehouse, or VRN Head Office employees are not eligible to apply.
