🎓 Minimum Requirements

Formal Tertiary Qualification in:

  • Project Management
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Mechatronics
  • Industrial Engineering (with Automotive background)

Languages:

  • English (Read, Write, Speak)
  • Afrikaans (Read, Write, Speak)
  • German (Advantageous)

Other Requirements:

  • Code 8 Driver’s Licence (Required)
  • Application experience in Project Management (Advantageous)

🎯 Role Objective

As a Project Graduate Intern, you will support assigned Project Managers and assist in coordinating the full project lifecycle — from receiving customer orders to final project sign-off and payment.

You will help manage risks, track milestones, maintain customer relationships, and ensure all administrative and operational tasks are completed in line with departmental KPIs.

This role offers valuable exposure to:

Key Responsibilities

Technical & Project Risk

  • Liaise with the Project Sales Department to establish cost- and time-effective solutions.
  • Gain a full understanding of project scope at inception.
  • Gather and assess all customer requirements.
  • Evaluate project feasibility.
  • Maintain continuous communication with customers regarding specifications, drawings, and project updates.

Project Milestones & Planning

  • Develop and maintain project plans aligned with financial and delivery constraints.
  • Determine and coordinate resource requirements.
  • Finalize project timelines with customers.
  • Manage schedule adjustments throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Chair weekly scope-of-work meetings to review progress with the project management team.
  • Support structured collaboration with Heads of Departments to ensure successful project delivery.

Quality & Compliance

  • Support the Jendamark Quality System (JQS).
  • Uphold company policies and Code of Conduct.
  • Act in the best interests of the company at all times.
  • Contribute positively to team performance and company culture.
