The Mpumalanga Economic Growth Agency (MEGA) invites graduates to apply for the Graduate Internship Programme 2026. Opportunities are available in Finance, IT, HR, Risk, Legal, and more. Minimum qualification: NQF Level 6/7. Stipend: R5,000 per month. Closing date: 13 March 2026.


The (MEGA) is inviting applications from motivated and qualified graduates to apply for its Graduate Internship Programme 2026. This exciting opportunity is designed to provide young professionals with practical workplace experience, helping them build skills and gain exposure in a dynamic economic development environment.

MEGA operates as an entity of the and plays a key role in driving economic development, investment promotion, and business support across the province. Through this internship programme, MEGA aims to empower graduates with valuable work experience while contributing to the development of the province’s economy.

The internship programme will run for 12 months, during which successful candidates will be placed in different business units within MEGA. Interns will work alongside experienced professionals, gaining practical knowledge and hands-on experience in their respective fields.

Fields: Computer Science or Information Technology

Human Capital Management

Fields: Human Resources, Payroll Management, or related fields

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • A minimum qualification of NQF Level 6 or 7 in the relevant field of study
  • Must be a recent graduate seeking practical work experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a professional team environment
  • Passion for learning and contributing to economic development initiatives

Internship Benefits

Successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend of R5,000 for the duration of the internship programme. This stipend is intended to support interns while they gain meaningful professional experience.
