Through youth@WORK, graduates gain 12 months of hands-on exposure in their fields, building the skills and professional track record needed to compete in today’s job market.
About the YES Programme
The Youth Employment Service (YES) Programme is a South African government-aligned initiative that partners with private sector organisations to create quality work experiences for unemployed youth. youth@WORK is currently recruiting graduates across a wide range of disciplines to be placed with host employers in East London, Pretoria, and Isando.

HR (East London & Pretoria), Software Development (East London), Mechanical Engineering (East London), Electrical Engineering (East London), Metrology Engineering (East London), Information Technology (East London & Pretoria), Data Science (East London), Business Administration (Pretoria), Finance/Accounting (East London), Logistics & Supply Chain (East London & Pretoria), LLB/Bachelor of Laws (Pretoria), Digital Marketing and Innovation (East London), Policy and Compliance (Pretoria), Sales & Marketing (Pretoria), Industrial Engineering (East London & Isando), and Safety Management (Isando).

Minimum Requirements
To be considered for the YES Programme through youth@WORK, applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
Be between the ages of 18 and 34 (applicants may not turn 35 during the programme). Be a South African citizen. Be currently unemployed. Meet Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) requirements. Hold a Matric certificate and a relevant completed post-school qualification. Reside in or around East London, Pretoria, or Isando. Demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills. Be computer literate. Be able to work effectively within a team environment.
What’s on Offer
Successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend of R5,241 and gain 12 months of structured, relevant work experience within their field of study. This is a valuable opportunity for unemployed graduates to build their CVs, develop professional skills, and gain the workplace exposure that employers increasingly demand.
