The National Regulator for Compulsory Specifications (NRCS) is recruiting graduates for its 2026–2028 Internship Programme across eight disciplines — Finance, Communications, Administration, Internal Audit, Records Management, Human Capital Management, Quality Management, and ICT. Positions are available in Pretoria and Cape Town. Stipend: R8,300.00. Closing date: 12 March 2026.


The National Regulator for Compulsory Specifications (NRCS) is inviting applications from suitably qualified graduates to participate in its 2026–2028 Internship Programme. This is a structured, work-integrated learning opportunity designed to bridge the gap between academic qualification and professional practice. Successful candidates will be placed across various business units at the NRCS Pretoria office and the Cape Town office in Montague Gardens, gaining hands-on experience in a regulatory environment that plays a critical role in protecting South African consumers and ensuring the safety and quality of goods entering the market.

All internship positions are offered on a contract basis for a period of one to two years, with a monthly stipend of R8,300.00. Finance Intern — Pretoria (x4) | Ref: FIN-PTA2026-2028

The Finance Business Unit at the Pretoria office seeks four interns to support financial and supply chain operations, reporting to the Financial Manager and Supply Chain Manager respectively. Applicants must hold a National Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics Management. This placement offers exposure to budgeting, financial reporting, procurement processes, and supply chain administration within a government entity.

Interns will contribute to ICT support, systems development, network administration, and digital infrastructure projects.
