Programme Overview

This is a 12-month, office-based contract position commencing 01 May 2026, based at Micros South Africa’s Johannesburg offices. Participants will work Monday to Friday on-site, engaging with experienced teams and gaining practical exposure aligned to their fields of study.

Minimum Requirements

To be eligible for this programme, applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

• Currently unemployed
• Based in Johannesburg
• Have not previously participated in any YES Programme
• Hold a Diploma or Degree in one of the following disciplines:
• Computer Science / Information Technology
• Hospitality
• Human Resources (HR)

What You Will Do

Selected participants will be integrated into the Micros South Africa working environment, where they will:

• Gain practical, hands-on work experience directly aligned to their area of study
• Assist teams with daily operational and administrative functions
• Take part in structured training, mentorship, and professional development sessions
• Contribute to internal projects and bring fresh, innovative thinking
• Uphold a high standard of professionalism in a fast-paced, results-driven workplace
