Placements are available across three functional disciplines: Accounting, Mechanical/Auto Electrician, and Operations Management/Supply Chain & Logistics. Available Internship Streams
Accounting Internship
Interns in this stream will gain exposure to financial record-keeping, reconciliation, budgeting support, and operational reporting. Working within a logistics environment provides unique insight into fleet-related financial planning, cost management, and expenditure tracking — knowledge that bridges academic theory and commercial practice.
Trade Tested / Mechanical / Auto Electrician Internship
Mechanical and auto electrical candidates will work alongside experienced technicians on vehicle diagnostics, preventive maintenance, repair coordination, and fleet compliance checks. This stream is designed for trade-tested candidates or graduates in mechanical disciplines who are ready to build practical skills in a high-demand transport and logistics environment.
Operations Management / Supply Chain and Logistics Internship
This stream places interns at the heart of Maysene’s operational activity. Participants will assist with planning, scheduling, dispatch coordination, route optimisation, warehouse coordination, and performance monitoring. This is an ideal entry point for graduates who want to understand how logistics networks function and contribute to operational efficiency.
Minimum Requirements
To be eligible for any of the available internship streams, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- B Degree, BTech, or National Diploma in a relevant field aligned to the chosen internship stream
- South African citizen aged between 18 and 35 years
- Must reside in or around Midrand for accessibility to the Waterfall-based operations
- Willingness to work shifts in line with the operational demands of a logistics environment
- Strong organisational and planning skills
