Glencore Eastern Chrome Mines invites qualifying students to apply for a P1/P2 Work Integrated Learning (WIL) opportunity within its Technical Support Services division in Limpopo, South Africa.

Key Responsibilities
As a WIL student at Glencore Eastern Chrome Mines, you will be expected to:
- Actively participate in the P1/P2 Work Integrated Learning programme to gain relevant, practical experience within your qualification discipline
- Complete all practical training and workplace exposure hours as required by your academic institution for the successful completion of your diploma or degree
- Adhere to the company’s Health, Safety, Environment and Community (HSEC) management system at all times, upholding Glencore’s non-negotiable safety standards
- Support the implementation of management decisions, legal requirements, and company standards and policies across your operational area

- Mining Engineering

Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Currently enrolled in Grade 12 or studying towards a National Diploma or Degree in one of the above-mentioned disciplines
- In possession of a valid Proof of Current Study and a Work Integrated Learning (P1/P2) requirement letter issued by your academic institution, confirming the requirement for workplace-based training for the completion of your diploma or degree
- Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office applications
- Proficient in written and spoken English
- Declared medically fit for underground work
- Performance and results driven, with a demonstrated ability to complete assignments accurately and on time
- Able to function independently while also maintaining strong interpersonal and team-based working relationships
