The Role
As a Field Service Graduate Intern (CG20), you will be introduced to the practical world of technical field service. Working under the guidance of experienced senior technicians, you will deliver basic technical support — both onsite and remotely — troubleshoot product issues, assist with installations, and carry out routine maintenance. Every task you perform will be grounded in company guidelines and strict safety protocols.
This is a structured learning environment designed to build your technical foundation while exposing you to real customer-facing responsibilities. You will not just be observing — you will be actively contributing from day one.
What You Will Be Doing
- Delivering basic onsite and remote technical support and troubleshooting under supervision, ensuring issues are resolved timeously and in line with safety standards
- Following detailed instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure product compliance and proper functioning
- Accurately documenting all service activities — diagnostics, parts used, and customer interactions — using the company’s Service Management System
- Supporting senior technicians during installations and repairs, providing tools and learning directly from their expertise
- Responding professionally to customer inquiries and escalating complex matters to senior staff where necessary
- Attending training sessions to develop your technical skills and stay current on the latest Philips products and service procedures
Minimum Requirements
- Education: National Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification
- Experience: No prior work experience required — this role is open to fresh graduates
