About the Programme

This graduate programme is designed to develop the next generation of geotechnical and rock engineering professionals within a world-class mining environment. As a Geotechnical Graduate, you will rotate across three of Valterra Platinum’s operational mines:

  • Amandelbult Mine — Thabazimbi
  • Mogalakwena Mine — Mokopane
  • Mototolo Mine — Burgersfort

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • A minimum final overall academic average of 65%
  • Qualified within the past 24 months
  • Holds one of the following qualifications:
  • BSc Honours in Geology
  • Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Mining Engineering
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSc Eng) in Mining Engineering
  • No more than 12 months of post-qualification experience
