Rand Water Graduate Programme 2026 – Multiple Disciplines (X8 Positions)
Rand Water, South Africa’s largest water utility, is inviting unemployed graduates and diplomates to apply for its 2026 Graduate Programme. This is a 24-month structured development opportunity based in Rietvlei, Johannesburg, Gauteng, designed to expose young South Africans to practical, on-the-job training within a respected public entity that plays a critical role in the country’s water sector.
Successful candidates will be enrolled in a comprehensive development programme that combines structured training, mentorship, and coaching with real workplace exposure. Trainees will build technical and professional competencies within their chosen field while gaining first-hand insight into Rand Water’s mandate and its broader contribution to South Africa’s water security.
Available Disciplines (1 Post Each)
- National Diploma S4, National Diploma S6/Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Advanced Diploma in Chemistry / Quality Assurance / Chemical Engineering
- BCom Finance
- National Diploma in Instrumentation & Control or Equivalent
- Degree in Human Resource Management
- Advanced Diploma in Water Care / Water Science and Technology
- BEng Tech or National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- N6 + Trade Test, or Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Minimum Requirements
- South African citizens; all races are eligible to apply.
- Matric plus a relevant qualification in one of the fields listed above.
- Applicants must be under the age of 35.
- No prior work experience in the relevant field of study.
- Applicants must not have previously participated in a graduate or internship programme.
What You’ll Gain
