The Commercial Graduate Programme is designed to bring out the very best in participants, offering direct exposure to Glencore’s commercial teams from day one. Successful candidates will be trusted with individual responsibility early in their careers, working as front-line support across a range of critical functions, including:

  • Risk
  • Middle Office
  • LME Desk Support

Graduates on the programme will have the opportunity to rotate across these areas, gaining a broad and practical understanding of how a global trading house operates. The programme is structured to test commercial aptitude, build resilience, and develop the entrepreneurial thinking required to thrive in Glencore’s fast-paced, high-stakes environment.

Who Glencore is Looking For

Glencore welcomes applications from students currently enrolled in, or recent graduates of, a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, ideally in STEM, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Candidates should be available to start anytime between January and December 2027, depending on individual availability.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Proficiency with IT applications, including advanced Excel and data-analysis tools; experience with Power BI and Python is an advantage
