CIPC (a member of the dtic) is inviting unemployed South African graduates to apply for its Graduate Internship Programme in Corporate Legal and Policy Support, based in the Business Regulation and Reputation business unit, Corporate Policy and Outreach division. This is a 12-month internship opportunity offering graduates practical workplace experience to complement their studies, with two positions available at CIPC’s Sunnyside Office in Pretoria, Gauteng.

Internship

As established by Cabinet in December 2002, the Internship Programme is a public service graduate work experience initiative aimed at unemployed graduates. It gives young people the opportunity to gain workplace experience and put into practice the skills developed during their studies.

Who Can Apply

The programme is open to:

• Unemployed South African graduates from higher education institutions who have completed their degrees or diplomas
• Unemployed graduates who have not yet gained relevant work experience in their field of study
• Unemployed graduates who have never previously participated in an Internship Programme
• Applicants between the ages of 18 and 35

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor of Laws (LLB)

Remuneration

Interns will receive a stipend of R12,000.00 per month. Successful applicants will be required to sign a Graduate Internship Programme Agreement.
