Mediclinic Panorama is offering a work-integrated learning opportunity for a Trainee Clinical Technician at its Panorama hospital in Cape Town, Western Cape. This fixed-term position provides hands-on exposure to the maintenance of medical equipment and technical support within a hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for the hospital under supervision
- Perform requested technical jobs within the hospital under supervision
- Acquire skills to identify and control risk in the technical environment
- Learn to coordinate and manage work done by on-site contractors
- Gain knowledge of office administration duties within the Technical Department
- Build and maintain stakeholder relations and client service within the Technical Department
Requirements
- Completion of all theoretical subjects for an NQF 6 Diploma in Electrical Engineering (light current or clinical engineering)
- No prior experience needed
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Suite)
- A valid driver’s licence is an advantage
