A leading manufacturing company based in Industria, Johannesburg is looking to appoint a motivated Engineering Graduate to join its engineering team. This is a strong opportunity for a recent graduate eager to gain practical, hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, working alongside experienced engineers and maintenance professionals while building valuable technical and operational skills.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist with engineering projects and continuous improvement initiatives
• Support the maintenance and production teams with technical problem-solving
• Participate in equipment inspections, fault investigations, and root cause analysis
• Assist with preventative maintenance planning and implementation
• Monitor plant performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and engineering drawings where required
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support production objectives
• Gain exposure to manufacturing processes, plant equipment, and engineering best practices

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• Recent graduate or 0–2 years’ relevant engineering experience
• Strong technical aptitude and a willingness to learn
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Exposure to AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar engineering software will be advantageous
• Knowledge of maintenance principles and manufacturing processes will be beneficial
• A valid driver’s licence will be advantageous
