About the Role

This is your chance to begin a rewarding career in the automotive industry through our comprehensive three-year Apprentice Training Programme. Working under the guidance of experienced technicians, you’ll gain hands-on experience and develop the technical skills needed to excel in vehicle maintenance and repair.

Reporting directly to the Manager: Service, you’ll be immersed in a dynamic workshop environment where learning and practical application go hand in hand. This position is ideal for someone with a natural flair for mechanical work and a genuine desire to master the art of vehicle repair.

Your Responsibilities

As an Apprentice Technician, your daily tasks will include assisting qualified technicians with vehicle repairs, removing and replacing vehicle parts and components, and performing routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes and lubrication services. You’ll learn to work safely with jacking equipment, handle wheel removal and replacement, and manage air and oil filter installations.

Beyond the technical aspects, you’ll be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace, keeping tools and equipment in excellent condition, and adhering to all safety protocols. You’ll also attend prescribed technical courses as part of your structured learning pathway, ensuring continuous skill development throughout your apprenticeship.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will have completed Grade 12 with Pure Mathematics and Physical Science. While candidates with a Technical Matric will be given preference, we welcome all applicants who meet the basic requirements and demonstrate genuine enthusiasm for the automotive field.

A valid driver’s license would be advantageous, and any existing technical skills will strengthen your application. Most importantly, we’re looking for someone with a clear criminal record, strong customer orientation, and excellent teamwork abilities.
