Our company is seeking a driven, analytical, and innovative Asset Intelligence Intern to join our Asset Management team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the cutting edge of solar energy performance management, leveraging data and technology to ensure our solar portfolio operates at peak efficiency.

As part of a dynamic and multicultural team, you will play a critical role in supporting the Technical Asset Management (TAM) division while collaborating with global colleagues. This internship is designed to provide you with exposure to real-world challenges in solar energy operations while also allowing you to develop highly sought-after skills in data analytics, performance monitoring, and asset intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

As an Asset Intelligence Intern, you will:

  • Monitor in real time a portfolio of solar power plants and detect operational issues and anomalies for the Technical Asset Management team to resolve.
  • Perform pre-diagnostics on identified issues, supporting the TAM team in tracking and solving plant performance challenges.
  • Maintain and manage databases to ensure accurate monthly performance monitoring and reporting.
  • Validate and contextualize monthly performance indicators, ensuring high-quality outputs for stakeholders.
  • Conduct performance improvement analytics to identify opportunities for increased efficiency.
  • Assist with onboarding of new solar assets into the Asset Intelligence setup, including data validation and monitoring portal integration.
  • Support the Asset Data Acquisition process through data logger troubleshooting and validation.
  • Collaborate with the global Asset Intelligence team to improve tools, systems, and digital infrastructure.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A university degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, Data Science, or a related field (BTech/BEng).
  • Basic knowledge of electrical power systems.
  • Strong analytical ability in data processing and evaluation.
  • Critical thinking and data validation skills.
  • Familiarity with data visualization and dashboarding tools.
  • Programming skills, with experience in Python as an advantage.
  • Fundamental knowledge of Machine Learning as a plus.
  • A willingness to work in an international environment, sharing ideas and learning across borders and cultures.
