Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Graduate Intern Civil Engineer, you will:
- Execute duties in strict accordance with your structured training programme, ensuring continuous professional development
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Construction Services team
- Maintain rigorous compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993, demonstrating unwavering commitment to safety protocols
- Apply theoretical knowledge to practical engineering challenges under expert supervision
- Participate in site activities, construction monitoring, and quality assurance processes
- Develop technical competencies in civil engineering disciplines specific to power generation infrastructure
Essential Requirements
Academic Qualifications:
- National Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
- BTech in Civil Engineering (recently completed or about to complete)
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Understanding of civil engineering principles and construction methodologies
