Minimum Requirements:

• Educational Qualification:
  National N Diploma or National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (NQF Level 6 with 240 credits).
• Experience:
  A minimum of 3 years’ experience, including P1 and P2 practical exposure in a technical environment.

  Not applicable.

Knowledge Base:

• Familiarity with Operating Regulations for High Voltage Systems (ORHVS)

• Level 2 or intermediate accreditation for control plant maintenance
• Understanding of Low Voltage Operating Regulations (LVOR) with Outcome 3 authorisation

Skills:

• Proficient computer literacy
• Strong administrative capabilities
• Valid Code 08 driver’s license

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out maintenance on control plant equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Diagnose and repair faults in control plant equipment
• Install and commission new control plant systems
• Uphold Eskom’s strict standards on safety, health, environment, quality, and security (SHEQS)
