About the Role

Reporting to the Artisan: Electrical, you will complete comprehensive training requirements prescribed by our Engineering Department. This immersive program will expose you to cutting-edge manufacturing technology and real-world problem-solving in a fast-paced production environment.

What You’ll Learn

As our trainee, you’ll gain practical experience across diverse areas including working with three-phase (400V) electrical panels and reticulation systems, complying with 220VAC single-phase standards, and improving machine performance through proactive participation in modifications. You’ll develop expertise in diagnosing and resolving problems with plant equipment such as motors, encoders, PLCs, drives, and HMIs, while learning to read and interpret electrical drawings and perform fault-finding on production machinery.

Your training will also cover Profibus/Asibus networks and their installation, providing you with knowledge of the corrugated and paper manufacturing industry. You’ll gain exposure to advanced corrugators from leading manufacturers like FOSBER, AGNATI, and FUMA, as well as converting equipment including Rotary Die Cutters and Casemakers.

Additionally, you’ll learn autonomous maintenance techniques, root cause failure analysis, and Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) methodologies. You’ll assist in drafting, updating, and reviewing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintenance documentation in line with engineering and safety standards.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will possess a Grade with Maths and Sciences and a National Diploma in Electrical Engineering. We’re seeking someone with good written and verbal communication skills, an aptitude for hands-on work, and strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
