We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Electronic Technician to join our team in Heidelberg, Gauteng. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to become part of a global company that values diversity, development, and performance.

Purpose of the Role:
The Electronic Technician will be responsible for providing electro-technical support across production areas. This includes ensuring the functionality and reliability of all production machines and associated peripheral equipment. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining production efficiency and supporting safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct predictive maintenance to identify potential faults and take corrective actions.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and components.
• Provide technical support and ensure machine availability during production shifts.
• Coordinate installations and upgrades of machinery and peripheral equipment.
• Maintain and update technical documentation, software, and equipment drawings.

Requirements:

• National Diploma in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (mandatory).
• Minimum of one year’s experience in a production environment.
• Ability to build, modify, and maintain PLC-based control systems (mandatory).
• Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical control systems.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
