Steinmüller Africa invites applications from motivated and ambitious engineering graduates for our Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Programme. This is an exciting opportunity for recent graduates in Mechanical, Structural, Civil, and Chemical Engineering to gain structured industry experience within a leading engineering and construction company.

The EIT programme is designed to provide qualified graduates with intensive training, mentorship, and exposure to real-world engineering projects across various business units and construction sites. Candidates who are successful in joining the programme will receive continuous development and support to prepare them for a long-term engineering career within the organisation and the broader construction and energy sectors.

Minimum Requirements to Qualify
To be considered for the programme, applicants must have successfully completed one of the following:

  • B.Eng. or B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering
  • B.Eng. or B.Sc. in Structural Engineering
  • B.Eng. or B.Sc. in Civil Engineering
  • B.Eng. or B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering

Proof of academic completion or final-year results must be submitted with the application. All academic records will be taken into consideration during the shortlisting process.

Additional Requirements
Applicants must be South African citizens and possess excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. As the programme includes visits to multiple project sites, primarily located in the Gauteng and Mpumalanga provinces, having a valid driver’s licence would be advantageous.
