What You’ll Do

As an Engineer-In-Training, your responsibilities will encompass a broad spectrum of engineering activities designed to accelerate your professional development:

You will apply fundamental engineering principles to real projects, producing technical drawings, performing calculations, developing designs, and preparing comprehensive engineering reports. Quality and accuracy will be paramount in all your deliverables, and you will learn to work within established engineering standards, codes, and regulatory frameworks.

Your contribution to project milestones will be significant. You will complete assigned tasks within agreed timeframes, demonstrating strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking. Thorough documentation of your work will be essential, ensuring knowledge transfer and project continuity.

Professional growth is a cornerstone of this position. You will actively participate in training programs and mentorship initiatives, working progressively toward your professional registration. We encourage initiative and self-directed learning as you expand your technical knowledge and capabilities.

Collaboration is key to engineering success. You will work under the guidance of senior engineers, building productive relationships with colleagues, contractors, and clients. Clear and professional communication—whether in meetings, reports, or presentations—will be expected at all times.

What We’re Looking For

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BEng or B.Sc Eng)
  • Computer literacy with proficiency in relevant engineering software

Desirable Experience:

  • Practical industrial or engineering experience is advantageous
