Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd is offering an exciting opportunity for 12 aspiring Mechanical Engineers to join our Engineer in Training (EIT) programme within the Turbo Gen Services division. The programme focuses on Boiler Pressure Parts and is structured to develop highly skilled professionals in the power generation industry.

Successful candidates will enter into a two-year Internship Contract, where they will receive extensive on-the-job training and mentorship by industry professionals, while being paid a monthly stipend in line with Eskom policies.

Minimum Requirements:
Applicants must have completed one of the following qualifications:

  • B-Tech in Mechanical Engineering
  • B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering
  • B.Eng in Mechanical Engineering

Skills and Competencies Required:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong leadership potential
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • A valid National Driver’s Licence (Code B)

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure
  • High levels of integrity and reliability
  • Willingness to adapt to change and new environments
