About the Opportunity

This is more than just an internship – it’s a comprehensive learning programme designed to transform recent graduates into competent, industry-ready engineering professionals. As an Engineer in Training at one of Africa’s largest dry-cooled power stations, you’ll receive world-class institutionalized training combined with invaluable hands-on experience in a cutting-edge power generation facility.

The programme welcomes graduates from diverse engineering disciplines including Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Process, Metallurgy, Chemical, Civil, Computer, and Software Engineering. This multi-disciplinary approach ensures you’ll gain exposure to the integrated operations of a modern power station while developing expertise in your chosen specialization.

What We’re Looking For

We seek graduates who have successfully completed a B.Eng or BSc Eng degree in one of the specified engineering disciplines. Beyond academic qualifications, we value individuals who demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and a customer-focused approach. The ideal candidate is a natural team player who combines technical aptitude with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

We’re looking for energetic self-starters who approach challenges with assertiveness and maintain professionalism under pressure. Your ability to negotiate, liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders, and demonstrate promptness and politeness will be crucial to your success in this role.
