About the Role
As a Field Service Engineer Intern, you will play a vital role in supporting our mission to improve people’s health through meaningful innovation. You’ll provide technical support to our valued customers on the operation and maintenance of Philips systems, while learning directly from seasoned Field Service Engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in diagnosing mechanical, hardware, software, and system failures using established procedures.
• Perform fault finding and planned maintenance on Philips equipment.
• Support Field Service Engineers in the field with various technical tasks.
• Provide limited but valuable technical support to customers on operational and maintenance issues.
• Serve as a secondary contact for customer service-related technical problems.
• Operate autonomously within defined procedures and techniques.

Who We’re Looking For

• Recent graduate (2023-2025) with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering: Light Current, Computer Systems, or Biomedical Engineering.
• South African citizen who has successfully completed all modules/credits with a minimum 60% average.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
• Passionate about technology and motivated to build a career in the health-tech industry.
